Exterior Rehabilitation of Patterned Brickwork and Ornamented Terra Cotta

McGuire Igleski & Associates, Inc. was selected as the Architect of Record for the comprehensive repair of the building envelope in accordance with the Standards and Requirements of the Chicago Public Schools. Work included exterior masonry and terra cotta restoration and repointing; selective parapet replacement; roof repair; and selective interior repairs. Built in 1924, the school was named for Martha M. Ruggles, an educator in the Chicago school system from 1864 to 1923.
