McGuire Igleski & Associates, Inc. completed an Historic Structures Report for the Frances Willard House and museum. Work included an investigative assessment of structural condition: evaluation of building elements, mechanical systems, and interior finishes for phased restoration. Report included recommendations for repair and preservation for short-term and long-term planning.

Two rooms within the museum were restored to their c1870 appearance: Willard's office (den) and bedroom. Project included investigation of original finishes, historic photographs and historic documents. Work included reproduction of original bedroom wallpaper; reproduction of original wall color in the den, and installation of other historically compatible finishes including wallpaper border, ceiling paper, carpet, floor cloth, light fixtures and lace curtains.

Frances Willard was a prominent educator and social reformer. The Gothic Revival style Frances Willard House was constructed in 1865 with a significant addition in 1878. The house, presently owned by the Woman's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU) is operated by the Frances Willard Historical Association as a museum of the life and career of Frances Willard and the history of the WCTU through 1922. The Willard House is a National Historic Landmark.
