McGUIRE IGLESKI & ASSOCIATES, INC. completed an existing conditions survey of ballustrades, steps and ashlar walls for the extensive museum expansion including extensive reconfiguration of the terraces.

Over 4,500 marble units were evaluated prior to dismantling. Services included consulting for the dismantling, cleaning, and reconstruction with restored and new marble.

McGuire Igleski & Associates, Inc. developed a Historic Building Preservation Plan: an intensive survey, assessment, analysis, identification and description of the historic significance of the building and interior spaces. The Plan facilitates future maintenance, improvements and agency review.

Designed by Daniel H. Burnham in the Classical Revival style, the building was completed in 1921 by successor firm Graham, Anderson, Probst and White. The Field Museum of Natural History has been determined eligible for National Historic Landmark designation and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

McGuire Igleski & Associates, Inc. completed a Historic Building Preservation Plan which included an intensive survey, assessment, analysis, identification and description of the historic significance of the building and interior spaces. The report also included recommendations for preservation, repair and prioritization of future work.

The Plan was prepared in response to the museum's desire for a planning document to facilitate future maintenance, improvements and agency review.

The John G. Shedd Aquarium, designed by Graham Anderson Probst & White in the Classical Revival style, was constructed between 1927 and 1930. The building has been designated a National Historic Landmark, and remains one of the world's largest indoor aquariums.
