| Music Administration Building Northwestern University Evanston, Illinois Window Restoration McGuire Igleski & Associates, Inc. is the architect for the condition evaluation of original wood windows. Project included a survey of original wood windows to document window conditions, evaluate their condition and prepare recommendations for repair. Provided construction documents and architectural services through construction phase for the complete restoration of the building’s approximately 216 windows. Designed by architect Gurdon Randall, the building was constructed in 1873 to provide housing and classrooms for the Evanston College for Ladies, which was absorbed by Northwestern University as the Woman's College of Northwestern. In 1940 the building was acquired by the School of Music and renamed the Music Administration Building. The building is a City of Evanston Landmark. |
