| Harris Hall, Northwestern University Evanston, Illinois Historic Building Preservation Plan McGuire Igleski & Associates, Inc. completed an Historic Building Preservation Plan which identifies significant building elements and features for preservation and restoration. Project included an intensive survey of exterior and all interior spaces to identify historic building elements for preservation. The survey and summary report included identification of building elements, analysis of condition, and preservation and repair recommendations. The report and database will serve as a reference for long term planning. Constructed in 1915, Harris Hall was designed by the prominent Boston firm of Shepley, Rutan & Coolidge in the Neoclassical Style. The building is a City of Evanston Landmark significant for its architecture and its association with a nationally known architect. Renovation of this building will be guided by the Preservation Plan. |
