Renovated Apartment Complex in Old Town

MIA is responsible for exterior restoration including repointing, lintel replacement, parapet reconstruction and cleaning, and for window replacement throughout the 10 building complex that extends over 2 city blocks and contains 628 renovated apartments. The apartment renovation is by NIA Architects, Inc.

The development was designed by New York architect Andrew J. Thomas, with the Chicago firm of Graham, Anderson, Probst and White. Constructed in 1929, this National Register property is a notable example of the large scale multi-unit garden apartment building type.
